The International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, Poland, is the earliest and most prestigious art poster exhibition in the world. It has been held for 25 years. The first International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, Poland was held in 1966. At that time, the Association of Polish Graphic Designers came up with the idea of showcasing current excellence in the field, and the event became one of the most prestigious events in the world today. The motto of the inaugural Biennale is: "Artists of the world's best creative performance of the most modern posters of the world", Warsaw, Poland international poster biennale also is recognized as the most artistic spirit of design exhibition, with Finland international poster exhibition, toyama, Japan international poster exhibition, Mexico international poster exhibition poster exhibition, Colorado, United States listed in five largest authority poster exhibition in the world, and enjoys a good reputation all over the world.
波兰华沙国际海报双年展是世界上最早、最有声望的艺术海报展，迄今已举办25届。第一届波兰华沙国际海报双年展于1966年举行。当时波兰平面设计师协会提出了集中展示当前这一领域优秀作品的想法，此盛会成为当今世界上最富盛名的活动。首届双年展上的座右铭是：“世界的艺术家用最好的创意表现最现代的世界海报”，波兰华沙国际海报双年展也被公认为最具艺术精神的设计展，与芬兰国际海报展、日本富山国际海报展、墨西哥国际海报展、美国科罗拉多国际海报展列入世界五大权威海报大展，并享誉全球。
