Suzhou, through the changing seasons, weaves the twenty-four solar terms and culinary delights into a magnificent tapestry. At the Beginning of Spring, one bites into spring pancakes, fresh vegetables wrapped in thin wrappers, awakening dormant taste buds and echoing the burgeoning spring. At Qingming Festival, braised pork in soy sauce, with its deep red color, is rich yet not greasy, a perfect blend of sweet and savory, showcasing the flavors of the season. At Lesser Fullness of Grain (Xiaoman), three-delicacy noodles, smooth noodles paired with fresh vegetables, are refreshing and satisfying, perfectly matching the rhythm of summer heat. At the Autumn Equinox, osmanthus-scented lotus root, the fragrance of osmanthus permeates the lotus root, sweet and nourishing, moisturizing the body from autumn dryness. At Greater Snow (Daxue), a hot pot feast is warm and nourishing, warding off the cold and aligning with the way of winter's dormancy. The solar terms are like a precise guide to food, leading the people of Suzhou to savor nature's gifts and deeply appreciate the charm of traditional culture as the seasons change.
苏州,于四季流转中,将二十四节气与美食编织成一幅绚丽画卷。立春咬春饼,鲜蔬裹于薄饼,唤醒沉睡味蕾,应和春气萌发;清明酱汁肉,色泽殷红,肥而不腻,甜咸交织,尽显时令风味。小满三鲜面,爽滑面条搭配鲜蔬,消暑解馋,契合暑热之律。秋分桂花糖藕,桂花芬芳沁入藕中,甜润滋补,润泽秋燥之体。大雪围炉涮火锅,温热滋补,抵御严寒,顺应冬藏之道。节气宛如美食的精准指南,引领苏州人于四季交替间,细品自然馈赠,深悟传统文化之韵。
